Nice to hear from you! We're fine, just going through work woes and getting tired of the same old election year bs. Since about November and the time we thought we could think about moving, work has been up and down. A couple good weeks in a month and then just little piddling crap that keeps us in groceries. So we can't do a thing until we've picked up AND stay busy...that's the catch. We have more estimates out and pending than ever before.
Our investor could loan us a down payment, but wanted it back within 60-90days. We would need much longer before we could take equity out of a house we bought underpriced to begin with. My mistake, I thought we could refinance sooner, but the industry is definitely tightning up.
So other than staying alive, we're hanging in there. Until work is steady again, we have no business even considering buying. And it'll cost more upfront to move to rent! Though I am starting to consider calling the realtors on a couple houses that I've seen on the market for months now that aren't moving and see if they'll consider renting. Maybe even with a rent to own option.
And I have to come and sit long enough to fix my whatever it's called that just comes up as an address in my post. lol, one of these months.
So what's new with you? Any good news at BV? I'll have so much to catch up on.
